The PADI Divemaster course is the first step toward your professional diving career. Work closely with PADI Instructors, refine your skills, and expand your knowledge. This course is the springboard to becoming a dive professional.
What can PADI Divemasters do?
- Work at local dive centers, dive boats, and exotic resorts.
- Assist PADI Instructors in student training.
- Guide certified divers on dive tours.
- Teach and certify PADI Skin Divers.
- Lead PADI Discover Snorkeling and Discover Scuba Diving programs.
- Conduct PADI Scuba Review programs.
- Lead Discover Local Diving experiences.
- Teach Emergency First Response programs.
Requirements
- Certification as Rescue Diver (or equivalent).
- Valid dive insurance.
- Medical examination in sports medicine.
- First Aid certification (E.F.R.).
Course Content
- 12 Theory and multimedia modules.
- 4 Pool practices.
- 5 Open water practices.
